Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Wishfold (“we”, “us”) covering the Wishfold mobile app, the website wishfold.in and every card page we host. By creating an account, or by opening a card, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Wishfold.
1. Who can use Wishfold
You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your local law requires) to create an account. If you are under 18 you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf. Recipients can open a card without an account.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google, Apple or a phone number. Keep your device and sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
3. Plans, payments and refunds
- Free: up to 3 cards per month, 6 templates, recipient page shows a small “Made with Wishfold” note.
- Plus: a monthly or annual subscription that removes the monthly limit and branding and unlocks all templates and scheduling. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.
- Single premium card: a one-off purchase that upgrades one card.
Purchases on iOS and Android are made through Apple or Google and are governed by their terms, including refunds; manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account. Purchases through Razorpay are billed by us; contact hello@wishfold.in within 14 days for a refund of an unused purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Your content
You own the text, photos and voice notes you put in a card. You give us a licence to store, process, display and deliver that content to the people you send it to, and to make thumbnails and preview images of it, for as long as needed to run the service. You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload — including photos of other people — and that you have their permission where required.
AI-generated drafts are provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing and editing what you send. To the extent permitted by law, you own the final text of your cards.
5. What you may not do
- Harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone, or send cards to people who have asked you to stop.
- Upload content that is sexual involving minors, promotes violence or hatred, infringes someone's rights, or is otherwise unlawful.
- Use Wishfold to send spam, scams or unsolicited marketing.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the service, or bypass quotas and payments.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Recipients can report a card from the card page footer or by emailing us with the link.
6. Card pages and expiry
Card links are unlisted but not private: anyone with the link can open the card. Photos and voice notes are deleted 90 days after a card is sent unless you save the card. We may show a “Make one back” prompt on free-tier cards. Scheduled sends are delivered as a reminder to you; we cannot send on your behalf through third-party messengers.
7. Our content and brand
Templates, stickers, animations, the Wishfold name and logo are ours or licensed to us. You may use them only within cards made in Wishfold. Fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Wishfold running but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, we will refund the unused part of your subscription.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Wishfold is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or ₹2,000 / US$25. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, except that consumers in the EU or UK may rely on the mandatory consumer protections and courts of their country of residence. Before going to court, please email us — most problems can be solved quickly.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Wishfold after that means you accept the new terms.
